The Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) was opened in 1970 and has a collection of more than 200 thousand items, such as photographs, cameras, films, videos, posters and testimonies. Known for immersive exhibitions of icons such as Stanley Kubrick, David Bowie, Truffaut, Renato Russo and Rita Lee, in addition to the successful Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum – The exhibition and photography shows, the Museum continues to constantly renew and expand its activities, in addition of various extramural actions.
